Project Brief
The BiboLink Smart Hydration System aims to provide a sustainable, tech-driven public water dispenser that offers customizable hydration options with electrolytes and vitamins. It promotes eco-friendly water consumption, reduces single-use plastics, and integrates smart technology for user engagement and data-driven city planning.
- The project requirements are:
- Sustainability – Use eco-friendly materials and promote reusable hydration solutions.
- Smart Technology – Enable user customization, data tracking, and app integration.
- Modular & Scalable Design – Ensure easy maintenance, adaptability, and expansion. - Energy Efficiency – Utilize renewable energy sources (e.g., solar power) where possible. - User Accessibility – Design for intuitive use, including for people with disabilities. - Health & Safety Compliance – Meet European regulations for public water dispensing. - Durability & Weather Resistance – Ensure functionality in outdoor environments. - Business Feasibility – Consider cost-effective production and operational viability.
- Comply with the following EU Directives:
- Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive (EMCD);
- Low Voltage Directive (LVD);
- Machinery Directive (MD);
- Radio Equipment Directive (RED);
- Restriction of Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive (ROHS);
- Mandatory adoption and use of the International System of Units (The NIST International Guide for the use of the International System of Units)
- Use open source software and technologies.
